Don’t be afraid of the word Ganache. It is an easy no bake pie with only four ingredients. A good quality chocolate makes this taste even better.

Place the pie crust in the freezer for about 15 minutes. Take it out when you get ready to pour the ganache into it. You can make a homemade crust, but I like the convenience of store bought.

In a large bowl, pour in the chocolate chips.

Pour the heavy cream into a saucepan over medium heat. Stirring constantly, heat just until it begins to steam but do not boil.

Remove the hot cream from the burner and pour it over the chocolate chips; let stand for 3 minutes.

Gently whisk until all the chocolate is melted and smooth.

Add the butter, cut into small pieces, and stir gently with a rubber spatula until all the butter is incorporated in.

Pour the ganache into the cold crust. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.

Slice and serve with sweetened whipped cream. Refrigerate leftovers.
