Colorful sign for Uranus Fudge Factory and Sideshow Museum, featuring a UFO and a dinosaur, with advertisements for homemade ice cream and a sign for US Route 66.

We discovered the quirky charm of Uranus in Missouri. We explored unique displays, fun activities and a nostalgic vibe. Check out our pictures and see what we saw.

On our trip out west, we saw multiple billboard signs for Uranus. Our curiosity got the better of us and I had to stop and see what it was all about. It turned out to be a stupid kind of fun and we were happy we stopped there.

A large rocket-shaped attraction named 'ASTRO-LINER' displayed on a trailer in a parking lot, featuring checkered patterns and a red tip.

You couldn’t miss this out by the road in their parking lot.

A decorative display featuring a large elephant statue on top of a colorful structure, with musicians playing instruments in sombreros in the background.

There were multiple buildings to look at and some to check out inside.

A close-up of the 'Uranus City Jail' sign on a red brick building, with palm leaves in the foreground.

It was like visiting an old small western town.

A vintage police car with a red light on top parked in front of a wooden building featuring a bright green 'TATTOOS' sign.

They don’t make cars like this anymore!

A colorful vintage double-decker bus parked outside with a decorative entrance gate and a windmill in the background, featuring a family interacting nearby.

So many fun things to look at outside.

A colorful dinosaur statue standing on two pillars with a spiky star sculpture above it, alongside an old red fire truck parked on a roadside.

I don’t know how they came up with their unique displays!

A humorous alien statue dressed in a green feather boa and hat, holding a sign that says 'Thanks for visiting Uranus!' against a brick wall.

Now for the inside displays.

Vintage gas pump displaying '50 cents per gallon' in a colorful setting with signage in the background.

We could only wish gas was 50 cents per gallon!

A humorous sign reading 'MISSING: A Pair of Balls' related to Putt Pirates Mini Golf in Uranus, Missouri, featuring images of blue golf balls and a golf club.

What a sense of humor.

A wooden door with a painted alien illustration and signs that read 'Pet the Alien!' and 'Stay Back!!! Danger'.

When you stuck your hand in the opening it blew a puff of air.

A wall display featuring various 'Wanted' and 'Reward' posters with cut-out holes for faces, set against a rustic brick background.

For this picture display, you walked behind the wall and put your face in the holes of WANTED or REWARD so you could have your picture taken.

A vintage-style wooden wall displaying a long rifle and various metal shackles or restraints, surrounded by graffiti and signatures from visitors.

That is a lot of shackles.

Display case featuring a baby rattlesnake and eggs nestled in straw.

Not real but from a distance it looked real.

A wooden box labeled 'CAUTION BABY RATTLERS' with colorful handwriting and a warning to 'STAY BACK!'

I saved my favorite two pictures for last.

Colorful baby toys scattered on a dirty surface, including a giraffe rattle, a frog toy, and other play items.

When we looked inside the box we found these baby rattlers.

There was a large gift shop, chocolate candy and ice cream too.

More pictures in a week!
